The dates begin this summer with her participation in Pharrell’s Something In The Water festival, before resuming in August for her last tour in the United States. For those who followed Taylor closely, this last tour will not be a surprise, as the singer has repeatedly confirmed her intention to retire. She first announced her retirement on social media in 2020, writing in an Instagram post that she felt "super underappreciated as a [artist]" before announcing that she was moving away from her recording career.
Time will tell if this will really be Teyana’s last performances, but one thing we know for sure is that she has options like one of the most versatile musicians on the planet who has risen through the ranks as a dancer and choreographer. Last year, her husband and reality TV co-star, Iman Shumpert, became the first basketball player to win Dancing with the Stars, after leaving the NBA with a championship and over $40 million in career wins.
